Position: Community Outreach Coordinator (Part-Time)

Mission:
The Community Outreach Coordinator will play an essential role in developing, planning, and executing health fairs and events across Georgia to support Hispanic/Latino communities and underserved minorities. This position encompasses health fair coordination, community engagement, data management, and administrative support to further HHCGA’s mission of health equity.

Key Responsibilities:

Health Fair Development, Planning & Coordination

  • Assist in creating and implementing project plans, timelines, and site coordination.
  • Collaborate with community partners and stakeholders to ensure successful event execution.
  • Track health fair progress to meet timelines and key milestones.
  • Coordinate health professionals, promotores, volunteers, and students on-site.
  • Facilitate clear communication between the HHCGA team, community partners, and stakeholders.
  • Capture event media for the social media team, including photos, videos, and reels.

Community Engagement

  • Establish and maintain relationships with local organizations, health departments, consulates, and other key partners.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between HHCGA and community partners, enhancing outreach efforts.

Data Management

  • Oversee accurate and confidential data collection processes.
  • Support qualitative and quantitative data analysis to measure event impact.

Administrative Support

  • Handle administrative tasks such as inventory management and data reporting.
  • Attend weekly HHCGA team meetings for project updates and collaboration.
  • Create and distribute promotional materials for events, including flyers and social media content.

Requirements:

  • Bilingual: Spanish and English proficiency preferred.
  • Documentation: Must be able to complete I-9 (Employment Eligibility Verification) and W-9 (Taxpayer Identification) forms.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel).
  • Organizational Skills: Highly organized, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel to HHCGA health fairs across Georgia.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Ability to engage with diverse communities and maintain strong relationships.
  • Customer Service: Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Creativity: Resourceful and adaptable, with a proactive approach to challenges.

Compensation:

This is an hourly position. The hourly rate will be determined based on the candidate’s credentials and experience.
